Personnel Policy Department

The Personnel Policy Department represents the government in labour market matters. The Department formulates to policy of the government in personnel and human resources matters in accordance with the political points of emphasis and is responsible for the legal and regulatory framework regarding wages and salaries, pay terms and pensions of government employees, their rights and responsibilities. The Department also advises the government and individual agencies regarding the interpretation and implementation of laws, regulations, labour market agreements and other personnel issues.

All general and special issues regarding personnel and pay terms come under the Department, including the Pay Negotiation Committee of the government.
